FinCalc ("we", "us") operates the website morgagecalc.com. This page explains what information is collected when you use the site, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we do NOT collect
All calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. The financial figures you enter — incomes, loan amounts, investments, tax details — are never transmitted to, stored on, or processed by any server. We have no user accounts and collect no names, addresses, or financial records.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use third-party services that collect standard usage data through cookies and similar technologies:
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived here. Google AdSense. We display ads served by Google AdSense to keep the site free. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Third-party vendors may also use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits.
Your choices
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the GA opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies entirely through your browser settings — the calculators will keep working normally.
EEA, UK and California visitors
For visitors from regions with data-protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA), the data collected by Google Analytics and AdSense as described above is processed on the legal basis of legitimate interest and/or consent, depending on your region. Where required, a consent prompt is shown before personalized ads are served. California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA, including opting out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information via the ad-settings links above.
Local storage
The site uses your browser's local storage for one purpose: remembering your country preference (India or United States) on the home page. This never leaves your device.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time; changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
